UVa’s entrepreneurship cup supports student innovators as they develop the next set of groundbreaking ideas.

concept competition:

The Concept Competition is the first stage in a three part Entrepreneurship Cup. The Concept Stage allows students to introduce ideas from every stage of development. Submissions do not require a full business plan or a working prototype, just a groundbreaking idea. Winning teams will receive $1,000 dollars and the opportunity for early consideration for the

social entrepreneurship track:

The Social Entrepreneurship Track of the Entrepreneurship Cup allows applicants to more fully consider the social impact of their proposal. This is the perfect track for students who think that their idea can truly make the world a better place.

  • Friday, October 25, 2019 — Submissions are due by 12:00 pm EST (Noon)

  • Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 5:00 pm — Final Presentations will take place in the Great Hall in Garrett Hall
