Today’s global challenges require coordinated action across the non-profit, government and private sectors.

Our Changemaker Labs offer students an opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a real world situation, by working alongside research faculty, policymakers and local community leaders to address a pressing issue at the Local, Regional, or Global level.

In the Spring of 2020, the University of Virginia received an award from Ashoka U for its Changemaker Labs. The #millionsofchangemakers campaign recognized SE@UVA as a global leader in social entrepreneurship and changemaker education. Read the announcement from Ashoka U .
